Jess’s challenge for the month of June
In the spirit of celebrating summer and healthier living, I’m inviting you to participate in my June challenge for better mental health.
How many of you would like to start working towards healthier and more productive goals, but have trouble getting motivated? (ME!) I’ve discovered that it’s easier to get yourself in gear when you have someone to get started with. Another benefit of participating in challenges with others is getting that ‘push’ we all need sometimes to get started.
So, I thought we could do this with some group effort and participation. We can work together to help keep each other motivated and on track to accomplish our goals! And honestly, I will never get started unless I am made to be held accountable. Ha.
I so want to make some changes in my day to day routine. I’m feeling stuck in a rut, and it’s very frustrating. The list of things I’d like to work on is a solid mile long, but I don’t want to overwhelm myself. I’ve been thinking about how I can go about working towards my goals, a little at a time.
Since we’re about to start a new month, I thought this would be the perfect time to begin. The idea started while trying to come up with new and creative ways to help you (my amazing readers) with achieving your goals. But I was like, wait. I have some goals I’d like to work towards too. After thinking it over, I had an “aha” moment, and that’s when my June challenge for better mental health idea was born.
I mean, this is a win-win here. I help you, and you help me too! Plus, I really think this will be fun. Hopefully…
What is the June challenge for better mental health?
Ok, I wanted to break this down to make it easily attainable to reach our goals, without that dreaded feeling of being overwhelmed. I know we’re all busy with life in general, so here’s the cool part – these challenges are going to help make things easier.
How, you ask? An excellent question, with a brilliant answer.
Our goals are going to center around improving our mental health. And when we improve our mental health, we feel less stressed and worn down by the day to day grind seemingly stuck on repeat. It’s going to be great! I’m really excited, and I’m hoping all of you will do this with me.
The June challenge for better mental health will be revolved around goals to help with some common struggles. I have faith they will benefit us all, and improve not only our mental health, but physical health as well. When we think about mental health, we often forget the impact our physical health can have on our minds.
Here’s how it works –
Every week for the entire month of June, I will post here on my blog what each weekly challenge will entail. If you haven’t already, and you’d like to follow along and participate in the challenge, you can subscribe to get updates sent to your email every time I share a new blog post.
