About Jess

Hey there, My name is Jessica. I have had a lifetime of experience dealing with anxiety, depression, ADD and narcolepsy, as well as mental illnesses within my family. I created this blog to provide information, lend a shoulder, and share experiences to help others know that they are not alone.

Believe it or not, there are people who do understand what it’s like living with a mental illness, and what you’re going through. And you don’t have to go through it alone.

Anxiety and Depression can be difficult to deal with, but you can learn how to better manage and take control of it. I have learned a lot through my life long fight with both anxiety and depression, and I’m hoping I can help you with what I’ve learned.

I want to be able to help others, and while I can’t promise every day will always be sunshine and rainbows, I can tell you that it also doesn’t have to be sadness, loneliness or emptiness all the time either.

I hope you follow along, and share your experiences as well, so together, we can help to give each other a place to go where we feel comfortable. Where we can talk, and share and relate to each other without feeling judged or labeled.

I’m glad you’re here, and I hope you stick around! I think we can all learn a lot from each other, whether it’s a good day or a bad day. I want us to also share positive experiences, and what things have worked to help get us through.
